Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Addis Ababa – Fly to Arba Minch – Dorze Village
Morning flight from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch. Upon arrival, meet your guide and drive to the Dorze village. Explore the famous elephant-shaped bamboo houses and learn about traditional weaving and enset (false banana) food preparation. Return to Arba Minch in the afternoon.

Day 2: Arba Minch – Konso – Turmi
Drive south to the Konso Cultural Landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit terraced hillsides, traditional villages, and wooden grave markers. Continue to Turmi, the land of the Hamer tribe.

Day 3: Hamer Tribe Experience – Turmi Market
Morning visit to a Hamer village to learn about daily life, customs, and traditional homesteads. If available, witness a Hamer cultural ceremony. In the afternoon, visit the lively Turmi tribal market, where different ethnic groups gather to trade goods.

Day 4: Turmi – Mursi Tribe – Jinka
Drive to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi tribe, famous for their clay lip plates and body painting traditions. Enjoy authentic interaction with the community. Continue to Jinka, gateway to the southern tribes.

Day 5: Jinka – Karo Tribe – Dassanech – Turmi
Drive toward the Omo River to visit the Karo tribe, known for intricate body painting and scarification art. Continue to visit the Dassanech community near the Ethiopian–Kenya border. Return to Turmi in the evening.
