Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa
Arrive at Bole International Airport and meet your guide. Transfer to your hotel. If time permits, enjoy a short city tour including the National Museum or Merkato market.
Overnight: Addis Ababa
Day 2: Fly Addis Ababa – Arba Minch / Dorze Village
Morning flight to Arba Minch. Drive to the Dorze tribe villages, famous for their tall bamboo houses and traditional weaving. Learn about enset food preparation and daily life. Return to Arba Minch.
Overnight: Arba Minch
Day 3: Arba Minch – Konso – Turmi
Drive south through beautiful landscapes to the Konso Cultural Landscape (UNESCO site). Visit Konso villages and learn about their terracing farming system and wooden grave statues. Continue to Turmi, home of the Hamer tribe.
Overnight: Turmi
Day 4: Hamer Tribe and Bull Jumping Ceremony
Explore Hamer villages and learn about their traditions. If lucky, witness the famous Bull Jumping ceremony, a major rite of passage for young men.
Overnight: Turmi
Day 5: Turmi – Karo Tribe – Turmi
Morning drive to the Karo tribe village along the Omo River. Meet the Karo people known for their body painting and scarification traditions. Return to Turmi.

Day 6: Turmi – Dassanech Tribe – Omorate
Drive to Omorate and cross the Omo River by local boat to visit the Dassanech tribe. Experience their unique riverside lifestyle. Return to Turmi.

Day 7: Turmi – Mursi Tribe – Jinka
Drive to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi tribe, famous for their lip plates. Continue to Jinka town.
Overnight: Jinka
Day 8: Jinka – Arba Minch – Addis Ababa
Drive back to Arba Minch. Afternoon flight to Addis Ababa. Farewell dinner with traditional Ethiopian food and cultural show.
